How Tutos are labelled

Starts with #N0BB + Short Title

Each Tuto in the RDV Tuto series is clearly marked to help you navigate quickly:

  • 🔢 Starts with #N0BB
Every Tuto title begins with this code to help you identify it easily—especially if you're searching for one you missed or want to revisit.

  • 📝 Short Title
Right after the code, you'll see a short description of what's covered in that session.

  • 🧷 Printable Download
If you see the word “Printable Download” in the title and this 🧷 safety pin symbol, it means there’s a crib sheet, guide, or recap available.
→ You can download and print these to study offline.

  • ▶️ Play Button Symbol
This tells you the Tuto includes a video replay you can watch any time.

  • Tick Mark
If a Tuto shows this tick icon, it means you’ve already opened it—even if you haven’t finished watching.

▶️ Play Button Symbol + ✅ Tick Mark

🧷 Printable Downloads

Printable downloads are labelled with a paperclip
To download and print the document click on the paperclip
At the top of the page you can now select to download onto your device
You can then print in the usual way

🎥 Video Walkthrough: Navigating The Course Player

The Course Player is where you study. It is where you can play videos, view documents and complete self-assessments.

You navigate through the course player using the menu in the left-hand panel.
You will see the activity you are currently viewing highlighted in this panel.
You can skip to other activities using this panel.
The menu of items can be either open or collapsed.

You can close the left-hand menu when you are watching a Tuto by clicking on the left-hand arrow.

To help you use the course player, I’ve created a short video that shows you how to:

  • Use the Course Player navigation to explore topics and resources

You will notice that the Course Player is organised into sections. For Bonjour Brilliance this is by month and its theme. You will see the same system in the Learn French Libraries but this time by level.

Why can't I see the website?

Once you are in the course player other distractions are removed and you will be completely focused on your study. This means you will need to exit the course player to continue to navigate around The French Room site.

The Learn French Libraries

The Learn French Libraries that come free with your Bonjour Brilliance subscription are organsied under the same principles as you have seen here.

There's a separate library each for grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, listening and even one that covers only practical day-to-day French. They are designed to take your French up a level of fluency. Click the link to find out when to use them and how to use them.
