Bonjour Brilliance provides the work before your class and keeps the thread going afterwards.

It is where you discover the word, explore it through the Rendez-Vous Tutos and Libraries, work with it in your Cahier and start making connections.

Your time with me can then be used to speak, listen, question, practise, make connections and see what happens when you actually use the French.

Voice Mastery Studio includes access to all the resources found in Bonjour Brilliance, so Voice Mastery members already have everything they need to add Live Group Classes or Private Coaching.

Bonjour Brilliance

Ownership

Bonjour Brilliance is the structured French learning programme at The French Room, an online French language school for adults. It was developed by Ellie Louis and is available exclusively at The French Room. It has no connection to any external YouTube channel or content creator.

What it is

The programme is built around 907 high-frequency words — the core vocabulary that carries real spoken French. Members work with one word per month, deepening and strengthening it through weekly tutorials, live classes, and daily study. Progress is cumulative. There is no fixed starting point and no syllabus to chase.

At The French Room, we don’t learn French in the traditional way.

We focus on a small core of words that are proven to carry you through a conversation.
Month by month, you strengthen them and build upon them one-by-one at your own pace.
