How to Use Your Voice Mastery Chat

Mar 23

Part of the Guidebook Series: How to Use The French Room

There are two chats:

- A group chat for everyone in the Voice Mastery Studio
- Your own private chat where you speak only with Ellie

Group chat: #Voice Mastery Studio

This is where I set the weekly task.

Use this to:
see what to work on this week
follow the Monday voice task
stay aligned with the current focus

Your private chat

This is where I work with you directly.

Use this to:

  • upload your recordings

  • receive feedback

  • get personal tasks for the week

  • be directed to specific libraries to support your work

How to use both together

Start with your personal task

→ record your response
→ upload it in your private chat
→ use my feedback to improve

Do the shared task

The aim is to repeat the task like a drill. Quality and simplicity over quantity and complexity.

When you have mastered the basics, I will suggest how ways for you to test and re-use it in more complex and impactful places.

Just getting started?

If you’re getting started or need help:

How to develop your voice
How to upload your recordings

Keep it simple

Group chat → see the task
Private chat → do the work and improve

Your recordings are the bridge between what you know and how you sound.

How this links to your week

You are always moving between:

Rendez-Vous Tutos → Your Cahier → Libraries → Voice→
 Live Classes

Your Voice work is not separate work.

It's where you find out how you sound and how to make that have more impact when you speak.

What matters most

You are not trying to complete as many tasks as possible.

You are using them to support what you want to say.
