French Room 907 Method
";You do not need 60,000 words to speak French.
The French Room 907 Method starts with the small number of words that do an extraordinary amount of work in everyday French, then teaches you to recognise what those words can do, how they connect with the rest of the language and how French speakers actually use them.
Everything you need to do this on your own is inside The French Room.
Private Coaching is the same method, taught to you by me.
One word at a time
";The Private Coaching difference
";We can stop when something needs more attention, go further when you are ready, test whether an idea has really landed and work on the difference between knowing something and being able to use it naturally.
I’ve been teaching French to adults since long before I founded The French Room back in 2015, and have more than 10,000 hours of live teaching behind me.
Over the past year, I’ve developed The French Room 907 Method from the lexical research of French linguist Jacqueline Picoche. Her work identified a small group of high-frequency words at the heart of everyday French. My work has been to turn that research into a practical way for adults to learn, recognise and use French more naturally.
Private Coaching gives you that method one-to-one.
We can stay with an idea, hear what is happening in your French, work on how something sounds and lands, and keep going until you can use it with confidence.

Before You Book
";To use Private Coaching, you need an active Bonjour Brilliance or Voice Mastery membership.
That is in your interests as much as mine.
Everything you need to explore the 907 Method between sessions is already inside The French Room: the Tutos, vocabulary work, grammar connections, examples and practice.
It means we do not need to cram all of that into the time you are in a coaching session with me. It means you can come ready-prepared to maximise the benefit of every hour we spend on your French.
Your coaching time can be used for the things that are much harder to do on your own: hearing what is happening in your French, working out what is getting in the way, practising how something sounds and feels in real speech, and staying with it until you can actually use it.
You do the work that you can do independently inside The French Room.
We use our time together for the work that benefits from me being there.
