Ellie Louis

I am Ellie. I built The French Room in 2015 and I have taught adults for more than 10,000 hours since. There is no team behind me, so when you learn here you are learning directly with me. I run the live sessions, I record all the tutorials and I write every word of the method.

Members send me recordings every week and I listen to every one that comes in. In this taster you'll send me one, and I'll reply personally on Friday.

Most people who find me have tried before. Some have studied French for 15 or 20 years and still describe themselves as beginners. That is the person I built this for, and of course for you if you are just starting out.

You have the ability. 

I learned French as an adult, living it, one word at a time, asking why. That is how I teach it.
