Booking this trip isn’t just about a visit to France – it’s a tangible language goal to motivate and reward you over the coming months! I’ll be inviting all participants to join a private group chat exclusively for everyone coming to Nîmes, so we can start planning, practicing, and preparing together. And if you have specific goals – like confidently ordering at a boulangerie, holding longer conversations, or even getting a compliment on your accent – I’ll work with you to make them happen. We’ll get you there step by step, so you can experience France with confidence and pride!
I’m thrilled to share that I’ve secured a stunning apartment in the heart of Nîmes – right in the lively old town known as l’Écusson. As one guest described it: “You open the balcony doors, pull back the shutters, and watch Nîmes life going by. Within just 50m, you can buy your bread and croissants at la boulangerie, visit the market at Les Halles, or take your pick of excellent restaurants, bistros, and cafés.” This apartment is a rare find, and I feel incredibly lucky to have it as our base – it puts me right in the centre of Nîmes’ daily life, perfectly positioned to make the most of this unforgettable experience!
With summer festivals like La Feria de Nîmes and La Fête de la Musique filling the city’s streets with music, parades, and celebration, accommodation will book up fast. If you’re planning to join, I recommend booking early! Whether you prefer a cozy hotel, an Airbnb, a Chambre d'Hôte, or even a campsite, finding a place in the old town or within walking distance of Les Arènes will keep you close to all the action.
This trip is all about immersion, with guided experiences such as wine tastings, city tours, cultural excursions, and access to the local festivities of La Feria and La Fête de la Musique. Here’s a taste of our sample itinerary, which we can adjust to match our group’s interests:
